WEEKEND ADULT STUDY OPPORTUNITIES
SHABBAT STUDY WITH RABBI WEINBERG--
Members gather in Rabbi Weinberg's study each Shabbat morning from 9:00 to 10:15 a.m. to study. After in depth study of the Five Books of Moses, the participants turned their attention to other books of the Tanach (the Hebrew Bible), most recently studying Samuel and Kings. Join an open discussion of the Biblical text (in English) with Rabbi Weinberg and fellow congregants. Regular and occasional attendees are all welcome. No prior knowledge is required. (This group does not meet when Rabbi Weinberg is out of town - check with the Temple office to confirm schedule.)
Continue your study of great Jewish text with this inovative study of Mishnah. One Sunday a month (check the web site calendar) at 10:30 a.m. we study in a new congregant facilited program. This year we will study Pirke Avot (Ethics of the Fathers). Mishnah 101 is open to all TBI members and there are no prerequisites other than a desire to study and to acquire some new friends.
For those who wish to begin learning Hebrew or brush up on their skills, TBI offers several levels of Hebrew classes for adults on Sunday mornings during Religious School. Students register each semester.
